This is not a race and not a run club, it’s a coached fun run designed to meet you where you are.
What will happen
A guided warm-up led by a running coach
A self-paced 5K (3fitness test
Optional walk/run for those who need it
Clear guidance on how to use your mile to set training goals
We start and finish indoors at the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place, with restrooms available on the first and second floors.

I coach runners across all levels, from people running their first mile to athletes training for the NYC Marathon. My approach is rooted in proven training principles, consistency, and injury prevention.
The First Mile is about giving you a clear starting point so you can train smarter for whatever goal you care about this year.
